This testing tool calculates the following between the device running the test and AS31472:
Browser Based Speed Testing will become more inaccurate around 1Gbps as the machine hardware running the browser test becomes a bottleneck. IPERF testing should be used instead.
- Download- The maximum currently available bandwidth downstream
- Upload - The maximum currently available bandwidth upstream
- Ping <150 ms is preferred for QoS with Real-Time services
- Jitter <30 ms is preferred for QoS with Real-Time services
You should ensure that no other devices are using the connection during the test and you are connected directly into the primary router.
